Chicken breasts, flour, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, half and half, eggs, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese
Begin by butterflying two large chicken breasts to produce four thin chicken breasts. Set up a bread station with three shallow bowls for flour.
In the first bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Beat eggs and half and half in the second bowl.
Dredge each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then dip into the egg wash, and coat with breadcrumbs thoroughly.
Bake the chicken breasts in the oven for twenty minutes, flipping halfway through to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
After baking, spoon marinara sauce over the chicken breasts and top with slices of mozzarella cheese.
Garnish the Oven Baked Chicken Parmesan with fresh basil leaves. Serve over cooked pasta or rice, or alongside a green salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
